Synopsis:
Silvia is a precariously-employed chemistry researcher, single and not really with it. Her life revolves around formulae, unsuitable relationships with unsuitable women, a mother who is always poking her nose in and an inflexible post-communist Russian maid. Suddenly she finds herself having to look after two teenage cousins at the same time as she meets and falls in love with Alessia, an up-and-coming career girl. Re(l)azioni a catena (Chain Reactions) was conceived and created by the cultural association BADhOLE Video (Badòle, the 'h' is silent). Four episodes have been released. The filmmakers are currently starting the pre-production of the next four episodes to complete the series. Thank you PNT Tv. Italy is a country where rights are denied to women who work, to homosexuals, to young people, to immigrants. The idea for the web series stems from our indignation at a country which tries to force people to go with the flow and our eagerness to talk about how we see affections, work and the family: a sequence of sometimes surprising reactions and relationships.
