It's April and for American WoSo fans, that means the beginning of the NWSL (National Women's Soccer League) 3rd season. The regular season will kick off on Friday, 10th April with the Houston Dash hosting the Washington Spirit at BBVA Compass Stadium.

Perhaps as a precursor to her retirement, USWNT's Abby Wambach has opted to sit out the 2015 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) season to focus solely on the upcoming Women's World Cup.
The most dominant scorer in the world will turn 35 in June, mere days before the start of the premiere tournament in Canada. The Pittsford native sent the internet into a frenzy as speculation ensued that she will retire after the World Cup.
It is clear that the way she has played the game that it is very taxing on her body and it won't hold up to the beating she gives it, much longer.
