Born from the ashes of the equivalent of a musical Armageddon is the phoenix known as Fridays Waiting. Fridays Waiting is straight out of the Devils belt in Wichita Kansas. The original line up was formed in early 2000 but was known then as the all acoustic band Under The Sun. Over time the band evolved into a much darker, tribal, hard rock style. With this new sound came the new name Fridays Waiting. The line up now consist of original members female lead vocalist Juana Villa, lead guitarist Jeremy Twist, Bassist Andrew Douty, tribal percussionist Christopher Troy Zornes, and newest member drummer Sean Liike.. Each member comes from a different corner of the musical spectrum pulling influences from Metal, Rock, Funk, Country, Celtic, and even New World. This band infuses their music with a well-orchestrated synergy of powerful lyrics, hard-hitting dynamics, and gut grabbing melodies. Fridays Waiting puts on a spell-bounding, audience persuading show. Taking notice, Absinthe Productions/ Absinthe Elite Management out of L.A. and Palm Springs California signed the band in 2010.
