Raise Your Fuckin' Glass For Pink!

The goddess does it again! Released on Nov. 2 was her new music video for "Raise Your Glass." NOTHING that I've seen before, so perfectly DESTROYS societal norms like this video! She is the definition of a Superstar.

Women empowerment, Homosexuality, Culture, Youth, but most importantly, Tolerance are all themes in the video. I applaud her for finding a way to be OVERT, but SUBTLE at the same time in expressing her message of equality and power. Artists like Lady Gaga (who I do love, don't get me wrong) have a way of pushing too hard sometimes on the close-minded. The over the top dramatic, thematic performances get complex and most of the time, the message gets lost in translation. What you end up with is, just a bunch of COOL looking stuff.

"Raise Your Glass" pushes the right buttons without being ignorant or confusing. The message is there and plain to see and as Pink says "We will never be anything, but LOUD!"

I think it's time we all raise our glasses to humanity and celebrate our differences! Thanks Pink, for paving the way to a world where we're all DIRTY LITTLE FREAKS!
